Motown lovers in the Diocese of Central Florida can check out some good music at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 18, when Greta Pope and the Spaniels Forever put on a concert at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Orlando.

A Cincinnati native, Pope is an American jazz singer who has traveled around the world. Also renowned as a songwriter and band leader, she has performed with ensembles in Europe, the Far East, South America, the Caribbean, Canada, and the U.S.

Greta Pope and the Spaniels, who are part of Greta Pope Entertainment, Inc., are famous for performing hits from Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, Ike and Tina Turner, The Temptations, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, Sam Cooke, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Curtis Mayfield, and more, according to their Facebook page.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by calling 773-965-4200. Proceeds from the concert will partially benefit the St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church’s outreach ministries.
